Our room was ok, not in any bad shape by any means. The bed was good and comfortable, the couch did show some wear and tear and staining on the upholstery.
Best of all the shower had great water pressure so that was a plus! My only gripe is as a years old demographic I like my morning coffee, Just a simple black cup of joe.
All those speciality drinks take time to make. I just want a cup of coffee. Hmm this could be a deal breaker next Vegas stay.
It came with fresh fruit. I had a slice of pizza and water at the Sports Deli. The casino floor is busy in the center near the table games but quite empty on the north and southern ends.
Drink service was slow but I did ok at the slots. Not a issue just an observation. Good mix of old and newer slots. The pool was closed for the season.
Overall it was a good stay. Here, a Chippendales dancer socially distances himself from his clothing.
One of the most underrated restaurants in Vegas is going to be a minute. Sorry, tongue fans. No mention of Kiss minigolf reopening. Rio is owned by Dreamscape Companies, from the folks at Imperial Companies, a real estate investment company.
The company recently merged with Eldorado Resorts. Mental gymnastics aside, and despite the limited dining options at Rio, it will be great to have her back.
Pence evacuated after pro-Trump protesters storm US Capitol. Rio in Las Vegas to reopen in December.

TOPICS FOR YOU. Rated 1 out of 5 by Sam93 from Not worth your time We decided to stay at the Rio for one night for nostalgia purposes as we stayed there 27 years ago after the casino opened.
I think the furniture in our room was original to the casino. The bed seemed clean, but everything else was so old!
We went to a show and upon our return, found our neighbors to be having a full blown party. We asked for a new room and was told there was none.
Others had also complained of the noise so security came up and asked them to leave. We insisted on a new room, and finally they put us in the other tower, which had a security guard at the elevators ours did not.
The hallways were dirty. The furniture was not tons better than the other room and the carpets had been recently cleaned even though there was a huge spot as soon as you walked in and everything was wet.
By this time it was 2 in the morning and we just wanted to sleep. They still charged us the resort fee. It was ridiculous. We will never stay there again.
Date published: Rated 1 out of 5 by Maresa86 from Discusting dirty room We got in late with our kids and they crawled right into the beds, but shortly after we noticed something that looked like Carmel sauce on the floor and headboard.
Their was a couch in the room that was really old and looked dirty and worn. Everything in the room felt dirty and worn. Had our kids not been exhausted and already in the beds we would have asked for another room.
There was a desk by the elevators to check for room keys, but we never saw anyone there checking for room keys at any point in our stay. Everyone checked into their rooms by using a kiosk.
We never saw or spoke with hotel staff our entire stay. Rated 2 out of 5 by care from Never received room service Never received room service. No towels no change of blankets but I still got charge for it.
Room was Dusty. I personally had to wipe it down with lysol wipes. Rated 1 out of 5 by VeryAngry from Never stay here This has been our WORST stay ever in Vegas and we come frequently.
The rooms are so dirty I swear our couch is from when the original Rat Pack came to Vegas dirty mustard yellow velvet and Frank Sinatra would be embarrassed!!
The toilet paper holder actually fell off the wall. The room is exceptionally outdated and just gross, which originally we were just thinking ok, not the nicest room we have stayed at, but not the worst either.
I don't love people coming into our room when we are out anyway and we are pretty neat so it was not a big deal for them not to come. Our 3rd day we had someone try to get into our room, he came to the door and knocked lightly then harder and when I didn't respond it sounded like he started messing with our lock for about 20 minutes which freaked me out because my husband was out getting coffee.
When my husband came back he said to the guy excuse me what do you think you are doing? The guy didn't even move out of the doorway for my husband to get in our room.
Security did come question him, but were exceedingly dismissive of my concerns when I went down later. The next day we had someone next door hitting someone else and I heard through the wall hitting and hysterical crying and shouting "please don't hit me again" so again I had to call security.
About an hour later I get knocking on my door again and this time my husband is taking a nap so I don't want to open the door and wake him up.
Also, after what happened yesterday, and next door earlier, I really am hesitant about answering the door. I figure if it's anyone from the hotel they will announce themselves.
